I recently got a call from a client in a Central Florida county. Her son's high school told her that his IEP meeting would be held in 3 days. Since the county is in clear violation of the 10 business days notice rule, MyChildWins.com stepped in to help. The meeting time has been changed and we will be attending the meeting with this warrior mom! Stay tuned for updates to this case!
We have been working with the Orlando Science Center to train their staff on helping persons with disabilities and their families. We have also helped them devleop "Sensory Mondays" on the 4th Monday of every month!
ADM has been asked to teach a series of 8 classes to the Daytona Beach Police Department on recognizing and responding to persons with disabilities. We are thrilled to work our officers.
ADM is working with several area churches (like DLBC and Faith Baptist Church) to train their volunteers in disability ministry!
I am so proud to partner with Whole Foods in Winter Park, Florida! They offer a variety of classes on Gluten Free living! Stay tuned for information about our next GFCF class!
